Stephen Hofer, Founder and President of the Aerlex Law Group, has been named by Southern California Super Lawyers as one of the top attorneys in the Los Angeles region for the 16th consecutive year.

For the 16th consecutive year, Stephen Hofer, the founder and president of the Aerlex Law Group of Los Angeles, has been named as a “Southern California Super Lawyer” by the Legal Division of Thomson Reuters Corporation, the global media and technology company.

Every year, no more than five percent of the 87,000 attorneys practicing law in Southern California are chosen as “Super Lawyers” and of this select group, fewer than 1,200 have received that elite designation 15 years in a row.  Steve Hofer is ranked in the top 1% of all the lawyers in a vast nine-county region that stretches from Kern County south through Los Angeles and Orange Counties to the Mexican border.

The selections for the Super Lawyers list is made each year by the Thomson Reuters attorney-led research team.  The rigorous selection process includes a survey of the region’s lawyers, nominations by other attorneys, independent evaluation of candidates by the research staff, and a good-standing and disciplinary check.
