Aerlex President Hofer Named Southern California Super Lawyer 12th Consecutive Year

Congratulations to AERLEX President and Founder, Stephen Hofer, on his selection as a Southern California Super Lawyer for the 12th consecutive year.

Super Lawyers began identifying and naming the best lawyers throughout the country in 2007. Of the more than 106,000 attorneys admitted to practice law in Southern California, fewer than 1,500 have received this elite designation a dozen years in a row, ranking Hofer in the top 1.5% of all lawyers in the nine-county region.

Thomson Reuters, the international multimedia conglomerate that now publishes Super Lawyers, attempts to create “a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for other lawyers and consumers searching for legal counsel.” The Super Lawyer selection process includes initial peer nominations, an independent third-party research and evaluation process covering 12 different categories and then a final review by a highly credential blue-ribbon panel of senior attorneys.

Hofer, who just observed the 40th anniversary of his admission to the California State Bar, founded the Aerlex Law Group in 2005 and the firm has achieved worldwide prominence for its aviation law practice in the 15 years since then. Regarding his dozen years as a Super Lawyer, Hofer said, “I am gratified and humbled by the recognition, but this is really an acknowledgment of the top-to-bottom quality of Aerlex’s outstanding lawyers, paralegals and other team members and a reflection on the great work we all do to support our clients in every facet of aviation law.”
